How do I know this is real shilajit?
Fair question — the category has a genuine adulteration problem. Every batch is tested by an independent third-party lab for heavy metals and microbial safety, and we will send you the report for your batch if you ask. The batch number is printed on the base of the box.
8849 is made by Amaara Botanicals and marketed by Sat Kartar Life Ltd, an Ayurvedic company founded in 2012 and listed on the National Stock Exchange. There is a real registered entity standing behind the box.
Why sticks instead of a jar of resin?
Because the jar is the reason most people stop. The dose becomes a guess, the mess becomes a chore, and the taste becomes a negotiation you have with yourself every morning. A ritual you skip doesn't work, however good the raw material is.
When should I take it, and with what?
One stick a day, in the morning, before or after food. Take it straight from the stick, or squeeze it into warm milk, water or tea. Warm rather than boiling.
How long before I notice anything?
Shilajit is traditionally used as a daily rasayana rather than something you take for an immediate effect, so give it a full box taken consistently. We deliberately don't promise a timeline — anyone who does is guessing.
Is it safe to take alongside my other supplements?
For most healthy adults, yes. It is a food supplement, not a medicine. It is not for anyone under 18, or for women who are pregnant or nursing. If you are on prescription medication or managing a health condition, talk to your doctor before starting.
